Always nice to go to the winery for a show on a nice night. It was nearly 90 degrees in Seattle today and by showtime had cooled down to just about 80…very nice.
I started out the evening with my normal routine for the winery…I stop at the swag spot and pick up a t-shirt and other items of interest, then walk to the food vendors and get a wonderful kielbasa and a giant, fresh squeezed lemonade…so good!
About 7:00, I made my way to my seat and met my seat neighbors who were having a picnic and some wine (looked like some tasty snacks). The show started promptly at 7:30.
This was my first time seeing Jackson Browne live and he did not disappoint. He sounded spot on to how I remember him from the many albums and CDs that I had listed to through the 70’s and 80’s. He played many of his hits, which my favorites of the night were That Girl Could Sing, Doctor my Eyes, Somebody’s Baby (which I love and had totally forgotten it over the years) and Red Neck Friend. There were actually quite a few songs which I had forgotten and it was great to hear them again, especially live.
Great show and I would see him again anytime.
